Parasailing

Well, I promised to post the parasailing pictures so here they are! It was my first time and I was super pumped!!

I loved our chute!

We went about 800 feet high and I was a tad nervous. Once we got up there though, it was nothing! The water was beautiful from way up high and was a green color that I had never seen before. Gorg!!

The water that whole week was super choppy and rough because of the tropical storm brewing in the Gulf. The flags on the beach were red most every day. One man was even killed in Gulf Shores. By the time the boat ride from the beach to where we started sailing was over, I was so sea sick!! We were even swinging back and forth at 800ft in the air bc the boat was rocking so violently. But, it was super fun, and next time I'll know to take some dramamine before hand! :) It was 8 minute ride from the time you start reeling out, reach 800 ft, and reel back in. On our way back in, we started to get REALLY close to the water............

And, of course by the time we made it to this point, I knew they were gonna dunk us.

And not only did they dunk us, they proceeded to drag us several yards before letting us back up. It was all I could do to keep my head above water. I was not a happy camper when they let us back up, and you can see in this next picture that I'm calling (screaming) the guys a not so nice name. Jason got tickled at me!

We were SOAKED!! And had swallowed about 2 gallons of salty sea water. YUCK.

We were on our way back in to the boat in this picture. It was a blast. I can't wait to do it again!!
